If you’re lucky to have this quarterback for the fantasy football playoffs, you must be desperate. But enough about that.
Green Bay Packers had to resort to Matt Flynn as quarterback when Detroit Lions took out Aaron Rodgers with a concussion. Matt Flynn had a below-average outing against Detroit with 177 yards passing and 1 interception. Heading forward against the New England Patriots and the New York Giants defenses won’t make things easier since potentially Rodgers is out for two weeks or more. With these defenses obliterating every team on their way, it does not bode well for Flynn as quarterback. Without a running game in either Brandon Jackson or James Starks, it looks even bleaker. He should remain waiver wire fodder into the playoffs, unless you have a strong enough team with all elite running backs or wide receivers.
