With the devastation to the passing offense and wide receiver Reggie Wayne recovering from an injury, tight end Jacob Tamme has risen to replace Dallas Clark as best he could. Quarterback Peyton Manning has willed them to win games, although his statistics haven’t been off the charts, like the past few years. Jacob Tamme is averaging 12 yards per reception and has 2 touchdowns. With wide receiver Austin Collie possibly returning, Tamme should have more room to maneuver with the upcoming game against the Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Tamme did well when both Reggie Wayne and Austin Collie have been healthy, since they alleviated the short to mid-field range for him. Tamme is still a low-end TE1, since the wide receivers have been suffering injuries consistently and Peyton Manning under-performing.
