The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have found new life. With the advent of running back LeGarrette Blount and quarterback Josh Freeman maintaining consistent production, this may be a team to be reckoned with. Freeman has had four games with over 200 yards and a touchdown in each game. He has a relatively easy schedule going forward, but he’s still interception prone at times. Luckily, he won’t face any difficult defenses, except perhaps the next two against the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. But I don’t think he’ll be a big passer, like San Diego Chargers‘ Philip Rivers or Indianapolis Colts Peyton Manning, particularly when he has a big run threat to help him in the name of LeGarrette Blount. He should be high-end QB2 the rest of the way out, and maybe a QB1 at the end of the season. If not this season, then most definitely next season.
