Philadelphia Eagles vs. Indianapolis Colts Week 9 Post-Game Analysis

The Philadelphia Eagles defense shown up the Indianapolis Colts in the last minute with an interception by cornerback Asante Samuel to end the game 26-24 Eagles. Peyton Manning made a push, passing to wide reciever Pierre Garcon and tight end Jacob Tamme to the Indianapolis 41-yard line.  The interception by Samuel ended the drive and sealed the game.  The game was a nailbiter for Eagles fans indeed, but we won.

Michael Vick showed up for the game with 1 touchdown passing and 1 rushing touchdown.  He ended with an impressive 93.7 quarterback rating. Vick though did get his wind knocked early in the first quarter. This win showed that the Eagles are a capable of going to at least the playoffs, with this current team.  The team will have to prepare to face Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb and his corp next week.  With Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan willing to bench Donovan McNabb, even against his former team, this adds a new wrinkle to the game for next week. In the meantime, Eagles fans will have to hope they face the backup Rex Grossman sometime during the game. This would be better than tailgating at the Linc.
